Behavior of Damaged Continuous Reinforced Concrete Beams Repaired by CFRP Sheets

Despite the widespread use of RC continuous beams, performance these when repaired via Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composite material, has received less attention. Furthermore, several features flexural aspect beams still demand experimental and analytical evaluation. However, many anchoring methods have been developed to delay premature failure in which are strengthened with FRP materials. The plan this study consists eight cast dimensions (150*250*2800) mm considering length clear span is 1300mm. Except for one, all specimens were attached Carbon sheets about 70% negative positive moment zones beyond a predetermined damage level. Moreover, suggested modifying end-anchor technique adding CFRP layers (45, 65, 95) % as ratios. According results, optimal percentage restored ultimate capacity was 108.8% peeling-off concrete cover mode, obtained from using an two sheet. Also, increasing ratio leads decline toughness ductility values. In addition, it possible repair structure 95% rather than remove it.
